Dreams...

Right.
Well, I was looking for some pictures for my art work earlier [yes, I actually was working :)], and came across this picture.

And it got me thinking.
Are dreams just futile imaginations we come up with when we're bored?
Or are they actually possible ideas that we can work towards?
Because, I have my own dreams and aspirations, as I'm sure a lot pf people do, and I have my moments when I think, what's the point, but, they give me something to work towards and aim for.
But am I just a fool for believing in them?
I believe that dreams can come true, you just have to work hard to achieve them :)
On a happier note, I did finish all my art work for the deadline.
So surely dreams do come true...

Happy dreaming :)

It's amazing what lenghts I'll go to to procrastinate...

Well.
As the title says, I am procrastinating.
Again.
This time from art work, as I have a ton of it to do and allllll my coursework is on for thursday.
Basically, I'm screwed.
I have so much to do, and not enough time to do it in.
ARGHHHH.
I'd probs be doing my work now if my iPod hadn't run out of battery and me [being me] can't be bothered to charge it.
Oh wells.

I'd best be off then.
Oh, wth, i'll charge my iPod.
It'll only annoy me with no battery.

Toodle pip.

Rightttt,.

Hello again :)
Just doing a little bit of procrastinating before I go and raid my bro's kitchen to get some shiz for a still life drawing for art. Fun times...:/ Lol :)

Not very much to say, except that todays songs you need to look up (like I will be doing in a min) are 'My Boyfriend Builds Coffins' by Florence and the Machine (I think) and 'Up On A Mountain' by Welcome Wagon. I dont know if they are any good, but I shall probs YouTube them in a mo, once I've finished this. Or, maybe I should be good and do some art first...

Ho hum, I best go and do the smelly poo art now :/

Song of the day...

This song is really rather catchy, and me likes it muchly :)

-People Should Smile More-

People should smile more
Im not saying there's nothing to cry for but you've got
Everything laid out for you
Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and start another war

Keep buying, keep moving, this city, is sitting,
Next to me, we're laid out, it's gonna come, one thing is certain

I can't change the world
Cos tryin' to make a difference makes it worse
It's just an observation I can't ignore
That people should smile more
[people should smile more]

People should smile more
But the lights are so bright that they blind you, just one more
Meaningless scientific breakthrough
The more we know, the less we care whilst damaged on the way

Keep moving, keep buying, this city, is sitting
Next to me, we're laid out, it's gonna come, one thing is

I can't change the world
Cos tryin' to make a difference makes things worse
It's just an observation I can't ignore
That people should smile more

I can't change the world
Cos tryin' to make a difference makes things worse
It's just an observation I can't
people should smile more

I can't change the world
Cos tryin' to make a difference makes things worse
It's just an observation I can't ignore
That people should smile more

-Newton Faulkner-

YouTube it. Now. You know you want to...
And while you do, I shall go and eat some of my bro's crisps, as he's gone to uni with his flatmates and I'm alone. And hungry. And wont have lunch until gone 2 pm...

Hum de dum de dum...

Well.

It's finally half term.
Yippe!!! :)
I'm looking forward to going to Bham to see my bro and having lie ins and generally not doing much :)

Since my last post, I have been a tad busy.
Firstly, I have finished my english coursework that I was procrastinating from last time, and I am waiting ti get my first draft back.
Secondly, I went to the Frieze Art Fair last week in Regent's Park, London. Me and my Mum went with Alex and Valerie, and we had a very enjoyable day out, despite the fact that the Fair wasnt as good as last year, and I had to wait an hour and a half in the cold for my Dad to pick me and my Mum up. Not fun.
Fourthly - no, wait, THIRDLY, I have been busy making jewellery. I have always wanted to, and this morning, my Punky Pins parcel came, which meant I could make some new braclelets. (Ps, check out the Punky Pins website, www.punkypins.co.uk, it's an amazing site, which has really cool products!) So, I now have two new charm bracelets that I made today (inbetween making some of my brownies!) and I really love them! The only down point is that I am running out of links, and so may be asking the parents for a trip to HobbyCraft in the near future!

Well, that's about all me thinks.

Until next time,

Helen :) <3
